Netbook and laptop- What's the difference

Above: An Acer Aspire One Netbook

Recently I just done some homeworks about the netbook. At first when I got myself confused about the difference of these netbook and laptop but I got it figured out just now. Crazy huh? Oh, by the way, please read it before you decided on which you wanna buy. Otherwise, you maybe regret.

Price
In this aspect the netbook win. Nowdays it is the affordability has been the biggest benefit for most user as laptop are far too expensive to even contemplate. Netbook is a great deal for most teenagers and adults as they can now get online portability at a great price.

Design
A netbook is smaller in size and lighter in weight compared to the laptop. Although both have stylish and creative designs but the netbook's portability exceeded the laptop. What so special about it? Well, if you hate to take a heavy and annoying 17" laptop on the subway on the way to work or just back and forth whenever you want, You will consider a netbook.

Capability
A laptop is better than the netbook if compared by their capability. A netbook generally have all the standard office with internet applications ready but netbook can't multitask efficiently. So, a netbook have lesser performance than the laptop, of course. However, certain netbooks are almost as good as the laptop in performance, but their price isn't worth that right? You can have a better laptop than that if your bajet is to that amount of money.

Risk
Having a netbook just low-risk than a laptop. Most netbook comes with the solid state drive, which means there will be lesser moving part in your system that prone to failure. So, if you accidently bump or drop the netbook, the overall risk of a broken netbook hardware system will be lesser.

Battery life
Both have almost the same battery life, but the size of the battery is different. So, let's compare: Small battery with big life span; Big battery with big life span. Which is better?
*For certain netbooks, there will be extra battery for every netbook purchased as 1 battery isn't enough to sustain a netbook for a long period. Asus is one of them. It isn't that irritating, and as long you can use your netbook for an extended period, isn't it worth it?

Hardware
This is very obvious if you seen a netbook and a laptop. A laptop have portable peripheral attached to it such as optical drives. Meanwhile a netbook do not have one.

Overall, if you would like to have a computer which you can play most games and do a lot of intensive works with it, you can have a laptop. Meanwhile, if you do not mind having a computer with lower performance, and you wanted a very portable computer, a netbook will just fine.
(I personally prefer netbook, since I don't do intensive works with it. Furthermore, it's portable and cheap, though..)

So, is there anything I missed along the topic? Tell me if you know.
