Hp Mini 210

Based on a few sources I'd researched, Hp mini 210 will feature a new 1.6ghz Intel Atom N450 cpu from the new Pineview range. It also has a 10.1 inch display, 1GB Ram, a 160/250Gb Hard drive, a 6 cell battery, webcam, 5 in 1 card reader, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and comes with a Window 7 starter. Note that its keyboard isn't traditional but chicklet style.

It will be available in a number of color options; Blue, Black, Red, Matte Black with pattern, and Matte Silver with Pattern.

Due to the use of the optional Broadcom Crystal HD Enhanced Video Accelerator(add on card), you can now enjoy full 1080p HD Content Playbackon both HP Mini 2102 and 210.

Its battery life is unsure, whether is 4.25 hours or 9.75 hours of battery life.

iPad: The Bad Ones

In case if you don't know, iPad is the latest product of Apple. iPad is said to be released on April 3 2010. When I got to know iPad, I researched it to decide if It suited me or not. After getting my hands on the iPad informations, It is a dissapointment. I am sure that it will do no much good to the owner. Instead, it only frustrate its owner in almost all aspect.

Design

This iPad's design is pretty stylish and thin, with a lot more cool benefits. However, all these cool benefits couldn't stop it from having disadvantage. At a 0.5 inch thick, it is portable, but have you imagine what will happen IF you accidently bump or drop it? Sit on it? Even a netbook is much more better.

Peripherals

Having a thin and light benefits the iPad as it increased its portability. Although this is a good news for most apple lovers, the "lack of most peripherals" problem is enough to scare most people away. Why? Because it means extra charges, of course!

Optical Drive
Nowdays most people transfer document or other files with a cd or dvd. Thus the optical drive is a great need for all of us. Now we can't use a cd or dvd with an iPad just because of lack an optical drive. What's up with the stupid device? Maybe we can use it someday, but you still need to say bye-bye your money, isn't it?.....it's just like old man's saying "Nothing is Free" XD

USB port
It also lacks USB ports, which is a dissapointment for all USB users. In the market, there're many type of USB pendrive for sell. Even the cd or dvd can't be used, now the pendrive can't be used. If there's a method, it will surely suck your money out of your pocket, isn't it?

Webcam
A webcam is often used by nowdays people which makes it a great need for everyone. Now, an iPad have none. When there's no webcam, people can't communicate easily. What can you say about it? Webcam is attached to portable computers, so there will be no method unless there are better versions of them in the market.

Card reader
There are many type of card nowdays, which create multi card readers that connect all type of card to a computer. There is no multi card readers in the iPad.

Keyboard
A keyboard is a part of a computrer so it is a must to think twice before deciding to have an iPad. Why? iPad do not have physical keyboard as it uses a virtual keyboard. If you decide to have a physical keyboard rather than a touchscreen keyboard, then say a good-bye to your precious money and get a new physical keyboard. This method is not that worth it, because it will no more a portable device but a small computer screen with its system embedded in it. You will rather buy a desktop after using it a while. Otherwise, if you choose to maintain its usage, you will more likely throw the iPad out of your house after a few days of frustrating touchscreen keyboard usage.

Performance

Multitask
Even a netbook can overpower an iPad by cpu speed 1.66ghz to 1ghz. By only 1ghz, you can't multitask with an iPad. Yes, maybe you can, but an iPad still lags more than a netbook, isn't it? (Even with normal usage you still multitask right? If yes, then is iPad worth it? Think.)

Limited apps
Most iPad function comes from those apple based apps. You can't just take certain apps for free, you must pay. This only increases your expenses. Though you don't mind about it, there is possibility that you will be in hot soup if the app you need it in a hurry isn't available.

Browser
You are stuck in Safari in iPad, which makes another problem for you. With Safari as the only browser in iPad, you are limited to only the advantages of one browser.

No flash function!?
iPad's one of the worst disadvantages: No Adobe flash function. Nowdays most websites are flash-based or contains flash plugins. These websites you simply can't view on the iPad. If you are a facebook game lover, dump iPad out of your list. You can't play facebook games in an iPad.

Overall, iPad is just an expensive toy which suck your money out of your pocket. It's just a piece of shit, so don't fall in its trap or you'll regret. If you really want something stylish and portable, just get a netbook. Some netbook proved useful and cheap with stylish designs, too.

Netbook and laptop- What's the difference

Above: An Acer Aspire One Netbook

Recently I just done some homeworks about the netbook. At first when I got myself confused about the difference of these netbook and laptop but I got it figured out just now. Crazy huh? Oh, by the way, please read it before you decided on which you wanna buy. Otherwise, you maybe regret.

Price
In this aspect the netbook win. Nowdays it is the affordability has been the biggest benefit for most user as laptop are far too expensive to even contemplate. Netbook is a great deal for most teenagers and adults as they can now get online portability at a great price.

Design
A netbook is smaller in size and lighter in weight compared to the laptop. Although both have stylish and creative designs but the netbook's portability exceeded the laptop. What so special about it? Well, if you hate to take a heavy and annoying 17" laptop on the subway on the way to work or just back and forth whenever you want, You will consider a netbook.

Capability
A laptop is better than the netbook if compared by their capability. A netbook generally have all the standard office with internet applications ready but netbook can't multitask efficiently. So, a netbook have lesser performance than the laptop, of course. However, certain netbooks are almost as good as the laptop in performance, but their price isn't worth that right? You can have a better laptop than that if your bajet is to that amount of money.

Risk
Having a netbook just low-risk than a laptop. Most netbook comes with the solid state drive, which means there will be lesser moving part in your system that prone to failure. So, if you accidently bump or drop the netbook, the overall risk of a broken netbook hardware system will be lesser.

Battery life
Both have almost the same battery life, but the size of the battery is different. So, let's compare: Small battery with big life span; Big battery with big life span. Which is better?
*For certain netbooks, there will be extra battery for every netbook purchased as 1 battery isn't enough to sustain a netbook for a long period. Asus is one of them. It isn't that irritating, and as long you can use your netbook for an extended period, isn't it worth it?

Hardware
This is very obvious if you seen a netbook and a laptop. A laptop have portable peripheral attached to it such as optical drives. Meanwhile a netbook do not have one.

Overall, if you would like to have a computer which you can play most games and do a lot of intensive works with it, you can have a laptop. Meanwhile, if you do not mind having a computer with lower performance, and you wanted a very portable computer, a netbook will just fine.
(I personally prefer netbook, since I don't do intensive works with it. Furthermore, it's portable and cheap, though..)

So, is there anything I missed along the topic? Tell me if you know.
